Well, if the truth be told, I never really got past the very idea of a Chia pet in any form at all… I recall thinking “are you serious?” when I first heard about them many years back.
Doesn’t it make you wonder who actually thought this one up? Is there at person or group at Chia that sits around and says hey how about a “fill in the blank” Chia pet?
And the fact this one got through the process is still mind-boggling to me.
#RuPaul had the unfortunate task of competing with me for audience last night since my @KITP_UCSB public talk coincided with his Santa Barbara appearance! On balance, I think we both probably did ok, audience-wise. Here’s a recording of my appearance.
T’was a brief but good trip to #nyc. Managed to accomplish everything I had planned (except for getting a replacement mudguard @bromptonjunctionny) and there were many wonderful unplanned moments too (such as sublime solos from #jeremypelt and #SullivanFortner at Small’s).
Made a tasty lemon-coconut tart offering as a last minute addition to the Easter dinner menu. Wasn’t too bad! (A better photo would have shown more of the rich yellow interior.) #foodanddrink
