Tomorrow night and the night after (Sunday and Monday), you should look West just after sunset, if you’ve a clear sky. There’s going to be a rare conjunction of Venus, Jupiter, and the crescent moon. Already, Jupiter and Venus look great together (they make a lovely couple) each night, but the trio – the three brightest objects in the night sky – are due for a lovely show on those nights. We’ve got perfect weather scheduled here for that time, and I’m going to be standing on my roof watching! (Here’s a bit more on this. Or better, here.)
Enjoy!

Was in a warmer, nicer clime for the break and greatly enjoyed Venus and Jupiter- then two nights ago when I saw the moon for the first time I immediately knew what I’d be missing… then got a great view yesterday on the plane ride home…
Yep, looking like a blizzard back here in Cleveland now. Guess I’ll be missing this one.
Yes….. planning to train a bit more than good binocs on them!

Good binoculars will get you a gibbous Venus and four large moons of Jupiter too (if you live in a place with fewer city lights).
