Wetly cloaked mountains, a green hill, a shimmering field of dry grass. Point Mugu State park, early May.
A week ago we had temperatures up to and beyond 100 degrees (F) for a day or two. Thursday, however, we had thunderstorms, clouds, low temperatures, occasional blasts of remarkably strong winds, and rain each day since. Feels like Winter is back. It has been great for clearing the air, and definitely for the garden.
The weather change, among other things, has also modified my mood. I’m more reflective and inward-looking today, and feel rather a lot like the photo, if that makes sense to you.
