I learned from my USC colleague Ed Rhodes (yes, of the unintentional YouTube physics demo appearance) that he took his class on a lunar eclipse field trip a week ago. Here’s some of what he said:
I took my Astronomy 400 class up to Mount Wilson Monday night and Tuesday morning to view this week’s total lunar eclipse using the Meade LX-200 16-Inch telescope and my Canon digital Rebel XT camera.
