No doubt about it: Spring has sprung. Whoever says there are no seasons in LA – and there are many who do – have no idea what they are talking about. The signs are in the air – there’s been a distinct change of the smell; lots of flowers are blooming. A parade of displays has begun. These are some of the poppies that are in various corners of the campus here at USC:

Breathtaking photos! I wonder if it is okay in the US to grow poppy, unsupervised. It is not allowed in India.
Yesterday in Boulder, CO we had t-shirt weather, today there is a couple of inches of snow on the grass from overnight snow. I believe that this is typical for Boulder at this time of year, so Spring has sprung here, as well…. Gorgeous photos!

Yeah, I don’t know why I stick around here either. Pretty poppies!
You should try to go out to Anza Borrego. The flowers must be in full bloom right now. It is a spectacular sight. I went there a few years ago with some friends.
Wow. There’s still snow on the hills here in Colorado. Those are pretty.
Poppies are my favorite! What beautiful photos!
