Ok. A Little over an hour and 15… With a slight interruption. (See previous post.) But I did the shade work too. Working to two primary light sources was fun. (Two sides of the bus).
Now for colour…

Hard to express my feelings about this news. Quincy Jones is a massive part of the foundations of my formative years (in so much music across genres and media). Inevitable passing, of course, but no less sad… Thanks for the music and inspiration Quincy!

I will get back to you. Sometimes with all my German DNA I think I may have reincarnated as a female Durer. I wrote my senior thesis on Grosz. And I see (and live) a connection between the two.
Sounds great! (Hope you got my email in reply to your email btw.)
Or black and a blue or sepia wash–like Feiffer’s two new books.
It will be black and white. I don’t reliably see in color.
So will your current project be in b+w, or will you be working with a colorist?

Color terrifies me. After my mother’s death, I stopped seeing in color for two years. I was I high school. If I had been Oliver Sacks, I would have said “achromatopsia” about the condition. (Did I spell it right, Køt Biehl?) But I just stuck with details and misery.
