The Road…

The Road goes ever on and on
Down from the door where it began.
Now far ahead the Road has gone,
And I must follow, if I can,

Still a favourite. Was on the first page of my PhD thesis, way back in 1992. Feels like my mission statement, even now. Anyway, there I was working on a computation and I plotted these three curves (you’ll hear why soon) and there it was. The Road.
