I’ve been doing lots of things with my visiting family the last two days since we’ve had some non-rain days. I’d tell you a bit more about it, with stories of sugar-plum fairies, mice, tinsel, and more, but to be honest I am very tired, it is 7 minutes to 3 am, and so I’m going to pop into bed and sleep in on Christmas morning, waking up and listening to the radio in bed sleepily for a long while, perhaps sipping a nice hot cup of sweet tea that my mum would have made and brought to my room for me since she’ll have got up first.

Merry Christmas to you too! Yes, it is the tree I put up on Friday. The lights are a new set I got after many years of some older ones that still are great, having put in good service. These ones are LED ones, and so very low energy consumption. It is a softer light, given those big fruit shaped covers, and I thoug they might be a bit overwhelmingly big for such a small tree, but they seem to work. I like them.
