Wet and Green

trees at john's

Sorry, but I’m just enjoying the excess of wetness and green. I’m in Cambridge (more about why later, I hope), and I think this part of the grounds of St. John’s College that I spotted through a gate. I like how the distant trees appear in this view. I don’t know why, I just do.

Thanks for the tip Mary! I’ll have to check it out (if it’s still there when I move).

    Bromptons for everybody!

(I know that shop. Annoyingly, on my walk to the station, I decided to go via some back streets just before passing the shop and therefore missed going in and trying to fill my suitcase with the useful things that were no doubt on sale… sigh….)

    Oh well.

There is a cycle shop near the railway station which sells Bromptons and is having a closing down sale!

I’m just a poor student. Best to stick with the hand-me-down for now. Though I dream of the convenience of a Brompton one day…

  5. Clifford says:

Or maybe get a Brompton….. (?) Lots of them here….
