A colleague of mine who’s a beekeeper showed me this website that has these wonderful photos of bees on flowers taken by an entomologist at Michigan State. Here’s one that reminded me of your photos and I thought you’d like to see it — he’s captured a bee in the midst of exploring a lovely yellow rose:

I’m not fond of Mother’s Day, and therefore don’t encourage my children to celebrate it, but this is certainly a beautiful photo, so this mother says Thanks.
