I love a diagonal vanishing point.

Click for larger view. The weird rim light on my hand is because I enhanced the contrast on the page so you can see the lines, but roughly masked my hand to keep the exposure the same there.)

This is to illustrate a scientific concept in background in the book. I keep the pencil and construction lines visible for this one. Nice and rough.

Next: I’ll be sharing a “from rough to final” series with you of what might be one of my favourite panels of the whole book. And there’s a twist.
