My friends over at UCLA took the reins for the regional meeting known as the Southern California Strings Seminar this semester, and the shot above (a tad blurry) is from the event, which was today. We had four excellent talks (I
assume they were all excellent – I had to leave early) and some really excellent discussion, which is of course the point. (UCSB’s Don Marolf is in mid-flow in the picture.) Breaking news: Next semester, SCSS comes to Santa Barbara!
