#RuPaul had the unfortunate task of competing with me for audience last night since my @KITP_UCSB public talk coincided with his Santa Barbara appearance! On balance, I think we both probably did ok, audience-wise. Here’s a recording of my appearance.
T’was a brief but good trip to #nyc. Managed to accomplish everything I had planned (except for getting a replacement mudguard @bromptonjunctionny) and there were many wonderful unplanned moments too (such as sublime solos from #jeremypelt and #SullivanFortner at Small’s).
Made a tasty lemon-coconut tart offering as a last minute addition to the Easter dinner menu. Wasn’t too bad! (A better photo would have shown more of the rich yellow interior.) #foodanddrink
