The panel of three judges was not pelted with rotten fruit, perhaps surprisingly – I know I made a few unpopular decisions here and there – and it was a great showcase for some excellent (dead) poets, as well as some very alive ones as well (who were some of the readers)! I hope to go again next year. It was brilliantly put together event.
