I have to admit that I much prefer the Long Room to the Book of Kells itself! The smell of that place alone is wonderful!
That is fabulous…this has inspired me to take more photos of my own libraries. Watch this space!
As a librarian who hates cataloging, the main thing I think of is “look at all that work!”

I agree with Jonathan, the long room is so much nicer than the Book of Kells itself.

I really like TCD, the long room especially. Also love Dublin. And guinness. And, now I think about it, I suppose I have an affinity with a great deal of what makes up the Irish way of being.
