i have been watching this series for awhile. it is both informative and inspiring.

while my career has been in the project management of information technology, i have always had a curiosity for physics, especially astronomy. this series makes me feel like i can wrap my mere-mortal mind around the amazing theories and discoveries made by galileo to einstein to hawking and all in between and those to come.

after watching the first episode i was excited to begin reading galileo. i am reading Dialogues Concerning Two New Sciences which is the first part of a series called On the Shoulders of Giants. i have been pleased to run across a couple of concepts that i wouldn't have understood had i not first seen them in this television series.

the topics of the show have also made for great conversation with members of my family and friends who share my fascination of physics, science, and knowledge in general. i call and occasionally can reveal some great "new" discovery with them. we are then off to research and delve deep into our new found information so that we can impress and feed our curiosities even more the next time.

i am now a stay-home-mom and appreciate the information and inspiration of this series. it has given me a hobby (albeit a bit unconventional) that i am very excited about.

thank you for your contribution to the show! your site will keep me reading for quite some time :)
