One of my fondest high school memories was tooling around Miami in a Chevelle Supersport with Mr. Brown cranked way loud on the 8-track. He was one of the most significant musicians of our era.

Very sad news indeed.

It was the first thing I heard when I turned on the news this morning. What a way to start the day. : ( He was the hardest working man in show business, right up to the end.
