I used to use the western section of it to get to UCLA from the Palisades; and before that the Santa Monica blue bus routes from Venice. Sunset Blvd. from UCLA to the Silverlake district on a Saturday must have been a pretty colorful and unique visual show. I have expanded my mass transit use and look somewhat forward to being able to ride the new LA metro someday. USC didn't have a particularly good weekend, losing in Water Polo too. UCLA lost that Soccer championship to UCSB, but in a sense the 9 campus University of California's had one of their better overall weeks in sports, so i raise a coffee toast to the blues and golds of the State.
