My favorite program is "Universe" on the History channel, seeing you there, you remind me very much of a dear friend who lives in Malawi, Africa. So, today I decided to look you up on google to see if I could learn more about you than the small snipits on the show. I am sorry I didn't look sooner. I look forward to reading your thoughts on quantum theory, physics and the mechanics of the Universe and am happy to note there are moments of humor to intersperse the excitment of science research. I notice that there are now various varieties of peach on offer, but I’m sorted in the dessert department…There are superstring beans and several squash varieties (among other things) at one of my favourite stalls, and I get the beans, a red onion, and a garlic there and go in search of the main item around which to build the salad’s principal flavour. Indeed, there’s a guy selling some excellent looking asparagus and artichokes, and I stand there dithering for a while, trying to pick a culinary direction in which to go. So it started this morning with me making some plans to do things on the bike, starting with a visit to the Hollywood Farmer’s market to get some supplies (especially some more superstring beans, which are delicious!) and meet a friend. Idea would be then to -after excellent tamales for lunch from my favourite stand, of course- visit a couple other places, such as a bike store in West Hollywood to get some equipment for my friend’s bike, and then maybe over to the Sunset Junction street fair (you might remember my blogging about it last year), to par-tay. Then I’d go home and work. [...] [...] Oh Boy.
